The Wild Hunt | Fine Art Print

Design

During the various Covid lockdowns in the UK, Broc of Badger King Tattoo has been busy working on some Zoomorphic Celtic pieces whilst he has been unable to tattoo. 

The inspiration behind the piece comes from the natural world where life and death struggles are the norm for predators. Here you can see the Stag and the Wolf entwined within the knots locked in a fight for survival.

       

Material & Make
We have chosen to recreate this design as a fine art Giclée print to maintain the best quality of colour reproduction and the results are really outstanding.

The artwork is printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper. 
 
As these are archival quality fine art prints please handle them with care, preferably only touching the edges and we recommend mounting them in a frame behind glass.

    

About The Artist

Broc Ó Diolúin, known as The Badger King within his tattoo work, is renowned for his work with Celtic and Nordic art styles. His creations and knowledge also manifest in a project known as Badger Horns, where he shares stories and mythology related to Celtic folklore. Though he calls Llandudno in North Wales his home, Broc’s dedication to the Irish  language and lore is apparent in his work with the ancient script of Ogham, as well as his mastery of the artistic styles seen within the Book of Kells.
