Oseberg Serpent | Enamel Pin
Sorry, currently out of stock
Design
This enamel pin by Dyrs Hjarta Art is heavily inspired by the prow of the famous Oseberg Ship.
The Oseberg ship commands attention through both its size and artistry, revealing the power that symbolism had for the Vikings - even in death.
Its massive spiral prow incorporates a snake head and gripping beasts, all of which were designed to convey the impact and eloquence of those laid to rest within.
Dyrs Hjarta Art created this enamel pin to commemorate these features. Due to its slightly larger size, this pin is fastened with two clasps.
Material & Make
Our pins are crafted in solid metal with enamel detailing and a sturdy pin for security of closure and longevity.
This pin also comes with a backing card designed by Gloria in the Oseburg style
