Heilung’s Opening Ceremony | Art Print

Design

After seeing Heilung perform in Midgardsblot and Copenhagen, I was blown away by the performance. On top of this I was inspired. Their use of archeological and ancient textual ideas stands in a league of its own, as do their approach to sound. I wanted to try and capture some of this energy in my own interpretation, and this is the result.

The frame is made of a coiling serpent born of the incense burnt around the stage to sanctify the space. Within it is the Elder Futhark runes, in homage to their opening song ‘In Maijan’.

Written by Sean Parry of Sacred Knot Tattoo.

Material & Make

The artwork you will receive has been printed locally using high quality inks and paper to maintain integrity and quality of colour and image.

Your print will arrive on 250gsm silk paper and should be handled with care. It’s preferable to only touch the edges and we recommend mounting these in a frame behind glass.
