Urnes Dragon | Organic T-Shirt

This Urnes dragon T-Shirt design was created by Sacred Knot Tattoo a few years back. It is a minimalist depiction of a serpent surrounding a bindrune dedicated to the Aessir. The serpent has the Norwegian younger futhark in its body and a few simple snakes to bond the creature and its magic in place. These are thought to be some of the ideas on how to immortalise ideas and power in imagery in the Early medieval Scandinavian period, although the motifs certainly changed through the years.

This t-shirt is printed in the UK on ethically sourced 100% organic cotton. The design is rendered in the highest quality of detail for sharpness and longevity of wear.

About The Artist

Sean Parry is the founder and main artist at Sacred Knot Tattoo. Having grown up in North Wales on a mountain peninsula called the Great Orme, his love of celtic and Norse culture, history and art fuels his tattooing and painting. He specialises in celtic and norse neo-traditional dotwork, aiming to capture the magic of knotwork and spirals that the ancient inhabitants of the North where also so fond of.
