Snake Witch | Fine Art Print
Sorry, currently out of stock
Design
The "Snake Witch" is the creation of Sean Parry of Sacred Knot Tattoo and is available in colour or Black & White.
“This image was inspired by the Snake Witch stone from Gotland, Sweden 5th to 7th century. It has many parallels with Celtic, Norse and Greek ideas, so I took the liberty of crossing it with a few of them.
As well as having its Swedish roots, it has a possible connection with Sheela Na Gig and is composed in a similar fashion as the Sutton Hoo gold belt buckle. It’s more than possible that the idea was subtly behind all of these items and subjects... We will never truly know.”
Material & Make
The artwork you will receive has been printed locally using high quality inks and paper to maintain integrity and quality of colour and image.
Your print will arrive on 250gsm uncoated art board and should be handled with care. It’s preferable to only touch the edges and we recommend mounting these in a frame behind glass.
